“Cost of Attendance” (COA) refers to the total estimated expense a student will incur to attend a college for one academic year (full-time fall/spring semesters), encompassing all costs like tuition, fees, room and board, books, supplies, sometimes transportation and loan fees for students that request loans. Essentially, giving a comprehensive picture to students of how much it will cost to attend a particular school before any financial aid is applied.
