Florida Prepaid
Florida Prepaid is a college savings plan that is either purchased as a 529 investment plan or the Florida Prepaid College Plan. Each option can be used at Pensacola State College. With a Florida Prepaid plan, your funds are either invested or you make flat payments, which will be used to pay your college expenses once the student is enrolled.

WHICH PAYS FIRST?
Pensacola State College will always bill your Florida Prepaid account first. Since we share the Florida Prepaid database, we will apply your Florida Prepaid to your student account without you having to do anything. Pensacola State will then send you an email to let you know when Florida Prepaid has been applied.
IF I HAVE OTHER TYPES OF AID, DO I HAVE TO USE MY FLORIDA PREPAID FIRST?
No, you do not have to use your Florida Prepaid. If you would like to use alternative means to pay for tuition, please contact the Student Financial Services at 850-484-1782 or email studentfinancialservices@pensacolastate.edu and a representative at the Student Financial Services office can update your preference for the academic period.
WHY DIDN’T FLORIDA PREPAID COVER ALL OF MY FEES?
As shown in the above chart, Florida Prepaid does not cover all of the associated fees charged by Pensacola State College (such as additional costs of labs or online classes). These fees will have to be paid out of pocket or with another type of aid.
